Difficult to choose a leader at workplace
Having gone through a number of theories regarding the leardership and its characteristics. Some people argue that leaders are always born while according to other school of thoughts leaders can be made. But the truth is that it is always difficult to choose a leader.
It is very easy to comment that there are certain characteristics of leaders for which they are leaders but in reality, a leader instead of having all the required characteristics unable to please everybody. There are always opposing forces which creates hurdles in the working of the leaders. In most of the scenerios, a leader is suppose to work for the betterment of others. If it is right than why we are ignoring the complex personal psychology of the leaders, I always remain unanswerable to the question that how a leader can hide his personal likes and dislikes?
In the corporate sector where there are a bunch of individuals working at the same level on the same pay scale can choose a leader? how a single individual can work voulentarily or non for the betterment of other? Don't you think that he/she will work more for his/her own personal interest? How can you choose such a leader in that type of group, where the management itself is not involved.
