unionization is good or bad

This is the issue quite debatable rather there should be unionization of worker or not. On the worker prospective it is good but the employer took it a great threat and usually try to adopt other ways in order to reduce the unionization of workers. Employer mostly go for the options which are usually ethically wrong, the most common practice is to buying out the figure head of the workers union. In this way they don't have to pay much cost for the unionization. 

I am quite amazed that how one for the personal benefit give sacrifice of several others, being a leader the person has a lot of responsibility but you actually don't care that what will happened regarding your decision.  Though I am an HR professional and I really know this fact that unionization can create a great trouble for the organization and people mostly think that the strikes and other sabotage due to the unionization are the failure of HR department. but being a Human I personally believe that people must have right to speak for them and they must have decision making power. The organization which are the success stories in the map of the current business world definitely have some unions at all the level and one of the reason for their success was their contribution and their loyalty towards their respective organization. The workers who actually don't stand against the management decision I think they are not loyal towards the organization .  when you are loyal with some one you definitely raise your voice against or in right for that. please do comment, what do you think that unionization is good and it should be in the organization and how it contributes in the organization.

  1. I think unionisation is more good than bad
    It helps workmen convey their demands to the management while at the same time it gives management Collective demands of whole group of employees rather than deiverse demands of individuals.Also unions help management convey its all types of decisions very easily to 1-2 Union heads who may be understanding & easier to convince than convincing large no. of people separately.
    In fact successful companies like Tatas encouraging unionisation stand testimony to the usefulness of Unionisation

  2. yeah, meenu you are quite right thats what i believe that unionization is good and it has a lot of benefits and the organization with the unionization perform well as compared to those who don't have unions in their organizaiton.
