Labor Law Complaince

I was doing my internship in Human Resource Department of XXXXXXXXX Limited when I asked my supervisor that is there any labor laws exist in case of Pakistan as worldwide there are several labor laws which are implemented like EEO (equal employment opportunity), old age benefits, health and safety and several others, he told me

“Yea these laws also exist and act as a shield for labor but unfortunately their applicability is quite poor and organization usually doesn’t bother to take a look of these laws , being a HR manger, I don’t know exactly what they are because I never feel any need for that.”
But this does not mean exactly that being HR personnel we don’t need to remember these laws, at least we must have a little knowhow about these laws. That’s why I have uploaded a small text developed by SAMIDA (small and medium industrial development authority). Hope you will find it quite effective when you ones go through this.
